1. Consultations and completed sessions
Fees for completed diagnostic calls, mentoring sessions, reviews and delivered work are normally non-refundable because mentor time has already been reserved and used.
2. Larger packages
Where a larger engagement is cancelled, any refund is assessed against the written scope, completed milestones, sessions already used, work already delivered, reserved specialist time and non-recoverable third-party costs.
3. Student-caused delays or scope changes
Missing inputs, missed sessions, changed topics, new university requirements or expanded features do not automatically create a refund entitlement. The schedule and fee may instead be revised in writing.
4. Urgent and priority work
Priority fees compensate for reserved short-notice capacity and are generally non-refundable once work starts.
5. Integrity or conduct termination
If an engagement is stopped because of fraud, harassment, illegal requests, fabricated data or academic impersonation, completed work and used mentor time remain chargeable.
6. How to request a review
Send the project name, payment reference and reason for the request through the same WhatsApp conversation used for the engagement. CapstoneBridge will compare the request with the written scope and milestone history.
7. Project-specific agreement
A written quotation or engagement agreement may contain a more specific cancellation or refund clause. That project-specific clause takes priority where it differs from this general policy.
